Our Story

Three Stings Honey is a family run operation commenced in 2015 driven by a passion to keep bees and inspired by the intricacies and cycles of bee colonies.

Our hives are located in the Three Springs - Carnamah region in the wheat belt of Western Australia. Situated on a natural  bushland block of  approximately 1800 acres. The vegetation consist of mostly native plants and trees such as Spotted Gum, Mallee Gum, Banksia, Wattle and Grevilleas to name a few.

Canola crops from local farmers are also in close proximity.

Our bees extract nectar from all these sources  and other native plants when they are in season to produce our tasty honey each having its own unique favour colour and texture.

Where we are today

Our focus is to continue to harvest honey from our hives in a responsible manner to support the well being of  our bees and the environment. We only extract honey on the basis that each hive has plentiful  reserves for the bees to survive the winter months or when the seasons may be harsh or lacking. Our bees are not relocated maintaining their location all year round - reducing stress and disruption.

Bee stocks are all from feral bee swarms captured without the introduction of bred queen bees therefore honey is as natural as it can "bee".
